  • More Brown Honeyeaters

The last of the shots from my outing last Wednesday.

These are very small, very common around here and have surprisingly loud calls. They would fly down to a flower, take some sips of nectar, then fly off to another flower or back into the bushes.

    G'day Alan

Three beaut and sharp images as we have come to enjoy
I don't know how you manage to image-capture these wonderful little fellas ... those around me just flutter away all too quickly

Thanks Phil. Part luck, part birds accustomed to people, some patience waiting near the flowering tree.

Beautiful shots. Can't really pick a favorite since they're all very nice.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Lovely shots Alan. They all have differing appeal levels. At least they seem to like one of Australia's iconic and beautiful wildflowers.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks Isac. They certainly liked this tree.

Three more beautifully sharp images with that lovely creamy background. The only problem is they have me hankering for a long range prime

Thanks. I can recommend it as it can be rewarding, but also frustrating, and you do need patience.
