  • Pacific Black Duck in flight

    It was a good morning for birds at Tygum Park today, although I didn't manage to get all of the opportunities.

    I'll post some of this morning's images over the next few days.

    These ducks were circling over the lake for a while and I managed to get a few shots as they passed me. I missed most shots as I had somehow set the camera to single instead of continuous autofocus - not sure how as I never use single.

    I dont mind them. sometimes a bunch of them is what you need.

    Nice capture Alan. Even the common ducks have some appeal, especially when they are flying in a group.

      Absolutely agree Alan. I actually like the PB ducks, I watch them at the lake and they are very entertaining - the way they just faff about and do their thing and they just completely ignore me.

    Some nice group shots you got there.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.
