This is the species that got me hooked on bird photography. Yesterday we had a superb time with 4 birds whizzing past the hide at arms length. Occasionally you could hear the impact of talons on dragonfly. It was an incredible half hour. Shooting these fast birds from a public hide with small windows is quite challenging but really enjoyable. Here are a few from yesterday’s session. Click image for larger version

Very nice series of images Phill, #2 is my pick showing the soon to be ex-dragonfly in it's talons. What lens were you using?

Hi John, have you got XLFR and EXIFY installed? Works OK in Waterfox.

I think Isac is suggesting that easily shows what kit is used. Just mouse over an image and all is revealed. Doesn’t work for me on an iPad

Super sharp series. I agree #2 has to be favorite.

Thanks. I just find it amazing how they don’t crash while eating as they do not appear to be looking where they are going.

Thanks. Yes, the eye tracking is great although the speed they were moving I think it was just animal detection.
