we often see these on here of flying by. the mournful cry is unmistakable. we heard the cry and a munch munch sound so it sounded like they may have been feeding and low so homed in on the noises and there they were. luckily down a small gully so that you could get at eye level. due to thick is cover they werent overly concerned by my presence either.
got quite a few pix of the feeding behaviour. not out in the open at any stage but I figured that if you could see what they were doing, it was fair game.
