Attack of the Lapwing Plover

Got told about a baby Lapwing which was just around the corner in another court from home.
I think that it was Dad who took to the sky and began the attack on me for just being there in the area
By the way I did see the little one but not long enough to get a shot of it.

1 walking around but wasn't real happy and the Spurs are just under the feather

2 flying and turning to make the next attack

3 and on the next attack and I could feel the breeze of the fly by.

I presume there were eggs or young about and you were seen to be a pest!

These were just around the corner from home and I was told that there was a baby Lapwing around the corner.
So being so close I took the steps to go around the corner to see if I could get the little one.
I did see the baby but it went under some plants in the private front yard and out of sight.
And then the attack happened.

nice work on the flight shots. they take a dim view of you being near their babies or eggs

Stephen this is exactly what was going on here. I missed the young one as it was in the front yard but you just can't go walking on peoples property. So I missed out on the baby but not being the best with flight shot I still had to give it a go. Many thanks to what you said on these shot and I don't take what you have said lightly.
