The Shelduck couples seem to inseparable. Can't wait for spring when the bubs arrive.

Very good looking birds Isac and good detail and colour in these. This is another species we don't see up here.

no duck ponds around here, but there is a billabong where the shoalhaven floods and fills it. mostly woodys and blackies there, have seen a pair of shellducks there infrequently. always when driving past and never with camera at hand. the resident wedgies are often roosting by our road or in a tree there, again when you are heading to town or something, no camera
