    Lovely shots Phill. They are a remarkable bird from the look of your images. Great action captured here. The Canon 7Dii is a great camera for action shots.

        Thanks guys. Hopefully one day I want to get shots of the fairy terns that Aus has. They look so stunning.

          I've seen those fairy terns at the beach (WA) but never photographed them. They look like sea gulls but their black head makes them stand out.
          We have a WA Fairy Tern Network project started by the Conservation Council of Western Australia to make sure they stay around for a long time.
