Regent Parrot

The other day I got this one and only crappy shot of the Regent Parrot.
I did get others but conditions were so bad they were not worth keeping but this as crappy as it is happened to be the best shot I got on the day.
So if you or anyone wants to fix it go for it.
Oh by the way there are supposed to be 2 lots of these in Australia.
One lot are in WA and have got a very stable population and the other is here in Sunraysia which these have been deemed to be as endangered.
Though I am not of that mind as I think their numbers have grown in the years that I have been birding.
But that said these are one of the prettiest parrots in the country.

You can only get what you get Ralph. I haven't seen them here in WA but I've heard the farmers say they're are a pest. The eastern ones are only listed on EPBC as vulnerable and there are recovery projects in place, so that's a good thing.
This is a great place to get the current status of our flora and fauna.

Just going by what I have seen and heard in our area is that their numbers are good as I think that is the main word think.
But they are even moving into the Riverland area which is in South Australia as I have heard reports of them being seen there.
And this is also a good thing as this will help numbers over all as well.

That is the way I think as well. I did get them just yesterday as I had to go there to look for a Goat skull I found.
I seen them and I think I have bettered my shots from last time.
