    Sadly we don't have these in my area, though I do have quite a few shots of them.
    2nd shot is maybe the best of them in this lot going by what I see.

      Thanks Ralph. I liked the shot when it looked straight at me but side shots seem to be more popular.

    #2 for me too Isac. All outstanding though. Good framing, clear view of the bird, good pose and colour and clean backgrounds. I'm usually not a fan of birds looking straight at the camera, the beak almost disappears and the eyes reduced, but this one is good. The wire in #3 is not an ideal perch, but still a quality shot. #2 just ticks all the boxes for me - even the clouds in the background are nicer than a plain sky.

      Thanks Alan. Front on for a lot of birds is usually not as good as a side profile but this one does have a slight turn. Wires are never a good perch and sometimes I replace them with a branch, but after our deluges of constant rain, I noticed the line looked extremely clean!
