  • Female Red-capped Robin

Went out with the local bird group and it was out around the Werrimull Area in Victoria.
The birds on the overcast day were not playing well with everyone though some got birds the rest missed.
So it did depend on just where you were are that time.
Though the whole day we all ended up with a good assortment of bird.
This is just 2 shots from the day.

Beautiful shots in their natural environment Ralph. I don't mind a wider shot t show where they hang out. #2 looks almost like a sepia conversion. Nice work.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks for that and the sepia look I never even noticed until you mentioned it.
I am happy with both of the shots as each one is different.

Beautiful shots Ralph. I like the soft colours and brown tones, and the curves and lichens of the perch. The background shows the environment, but is soft enough to give good isolation to the subject.

Thanks Alan there are things I don't really do when I am out. I just see a shot and if it looks good to me I will take it.
I have not taken shots that I could have got all because it just hadn't had that look I liked.
So With what you have said is more by luck over all other things.
Working...
