  • Yellow-throated Miner

Out on one of the bush track to the west of Mildura I came across these Yellow-throated Miners, but they are all over the area.
And I came across a large number of them who were chasing each other around. So it was wait and hope one will land and then you might get a shot.

1 finally one sat there for me long enough to get a shot of it

Patience is a virtue Ralph. Well worth the wait. Lovely sharp images. A bit bright on #2 but that's life

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

And taken seconds apart as well and no change to the editing from either one. So posted as is.

We all know that the camera on most occasions doesn't get it right as to what we actually see at the time, as shown by your 2 images.
So it's perfectly acceptable to edit your images. Editing software is constantly being developed to help you get your photos to look as real and as close as possible to what you actually saw at the time. It also allows you the freedom to add your own creative flare and turn your images into works of art for all to appreciate. Experiment and have some fun - Cheers, Greg
