Lovely shots Ralph. We don't see them here in the south west so thanks for posting another Australian bird. Well done getting the thornbills too.

This is what it is all about as I think as there might be people who will never get the chance to see a bird unless there are places like this and I love getting out and making the pain worth while. I will keep at these Thornbills as they are all over the place at the moment and I think we are going to have a bumper crop of young birds this season.

For me #1 is the standout here. Good pose and nice clear shot of the bird but the bird is a little dark and would benefit from a little brightening. #2 is good too, but I just prefer the pose in the first.

The yellow colour of the Thornbill shows up well. You certainly do find a great variety of birds.

Thanks Alan and on the brightening I actually like them this way as is to the reason why I posted them as they were. I did a fair bit of lightening them up as they were far darker in the beginning. It is all to do with personal preferences as I see it. But fully agree the 1st has a better stance by far.
The Sunraysia Area as which it is called has a good number of birds in the area and I think it is well over 150 different types but please don't quote me on that, but we do have more than a fair share I think.
