Bird on a rock

This pigeon looks a little ragged for some reason. Maybe old age like in us humans.

Noticed a ring on its foot. It must be married.

Nice capture Hans. Looks like a tag, so it's being looked after I guess. Crested but not rested pigeon. I like the light and the lovely mossy rocks it's perched on.

It does look a bit out of sorts. Looks nice and sharp and I like the way the bird stands out against the darker rocks.

Don't see the birds against a dark background often makes it a bit different.

The Crested Pigeon might be going through a molt at the moment as to why his/her feathers are a little like that.
