  • Restless Flycatcher

Just outside of Mildura is a place called Lock 9. This is where they keep the Murray River at pool levels between them all along the river system.
I got told that there was a Restless Flycatcher there and I have only 2 shots of one so I thought I better get out there to try to get a few more.
No sooner that I was out of the car there it was and these are a few of the shots I got.
Yes the shutter speed was down a little too much for the inflight shots but I am willing to give them a pass.

Excellent shots Ralph. Plenty of detail, and well done catching it in flight.
