  • Welcome Swallow

This little guy was very entertaining as it preened itself and wasn't bothered by the traffic, Charlie or myself. I did notice a couple of things while looking at the image.
    1. It appears the power line is not quite level (but it is) must be an optical illusion.
    2. It does seem that it is recovering from open heart surgery.

Cheers Phil. They make a fascinating subject when they are in full flight! They are smart - they a so fast they catch bugs in the air and feed while flying.

For some strange reason I have got a couple of birds that I take their shot and when I get home, I am quite a lot of the time unhappy with the shots I have taken.
They just don't turn out for what ever reason. I move to another bird and it is back to normal. As I said I don't know why this happens but I jag a few here and there.
One other one is the Weebill.
So I would be happy with this shot.
