    Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree ...


    G'day all

    Many towns across Oz have a statue or model of 'something large' -- and Kurri Kurri in New South Wales, north-west of Sydney by about 200km has their Big Kookaburra. Standing 5m tall on top of a similar tree trunk, the tourist attraction dominates the town's shopping area

    It's a giant Kooka alright. Nicely framed and good colour. Next time, back a bit so we can see the scale of it - just me being me.

        This is what I would love to get a shot of as I just love Kookaburra.
        So if I am in a 100 kilometers I will make sure I make tracks to it.
