  • Where's the water gone?

A lone purple swamphen wondering who took the water. All the greenery is where the water usually is so food will be in abundance when the rains come.

Nearly. The story is there but the image didn't quite get there.

When the water goes the plants take over. Do they grow tall enough to be a problem when the lake fills. That happens with one of the lakes here, there is very little clear water between the mass of tall stems sticking up.

That doesn't happen here Alan, so it's nice and clean for the ducks when it fills.
