Scaly-breasted Lorikeet Portrait

I managed to get closer to these birds today, giving better image quality. This is a quite heavy crop from one of the shots.

Click on the image for the original uploaded version - maybe. Sometimes the forum resizes them, sometimes it doesn't; I haven't worked out what makes the difference.

Extraordinary shot Alan - thanks for sharing. Just a thought, rotating it about 45º would have better suited my old ways of looking at things.

Thanks Isac. Rotation hadn’t occurred to me as it’s a crop from an image of the whole bird. I’ll have a closer look at that.
