  • Just the usual suspects from Tygum Park - Superb Fairy Wrents

My first time out after birds following the rain. I managed a few shots I'm happy with and will post more later. I cropped these fairly tightly for display here.

Interesting to see flood debris on top of the fence at head height beside the path I was walking along.

All with Nikon D800 and Nikon 500mm PF f/5.6.

You did well to get them to pose for you. Equally you did them justice with two excellent images.

Thanks Hans. Sometimes they do sit still for a short time.

I agree with Hans. Lovely presentations. It's hard to see where the removed twigs would have been. I think you're a dark horse in the PS editing department.

Thanks Isac. Context aware fill usually works well and the clone stamp fixes any leftover artefacts. I avoid complex post-processing unless the image is really special.

The twigs were only over the BG, so simple to fix.

Alan - I'll just say "they're a damn fine pair of images" .... and I note the ref to flood debris, bugga!

Thanks Phil. I knew the area would have flooded but I hadn't realised it would be so high.
