    Unusual to see a B&W photo of a bird but the Spoonbill works well. It might be worth removing the gap at the black end of the histogram to increase contrast slightly. The stilts are very photogenic. Your seem to be still getting plenty of variety at your lake,

      I set my camera to mono to see how it performed and was happy with the results. It did lack a bit in the contrast so here it is with that adjusted. I think it makes it pop a bit more.
