  • Birds of Sandy Camp Road Wetlands - Part 1

I tried a site I haven't been to for a while. I usually avoid it on weekdays because of heavy peak hour traffic - it's about a half-hour drive without traffic - but now the sun is up at 5am, an early start avoids most of the traffic.

You've been a busy boy Alan. Lovely work on all of these in their green environment. Exposure looks to be really good on all. Sharpness, colours and framing all well executed.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks Isac. Some of the birds were reasonably cooperative this morning.

Yeah, it's great when they perch and rest awhile.

They all look as if they were evaluating you. Well captured and deserve to be added to the collection.

Thanks Hans. They were looking at me with a great deal of suspicion, I think.
