3 angles of a White Faced Heron. It seemed to have a lot more "rust" colour on it than usual.

I don't know enough about them to comment - but #2 is the sort of shot I have as keepers

It's a pretty common bird Phil. They're seen throughout Australia, New Guinea, Torres Strait islands, Indonesia and New Zealand. They are very timid and take off as soon as you come too close. I managed to get about 8 metres from this one before it took off.

#2 is the best shot here Isac. I would be inclined to give it a bit more space if possible. Good clear shot with good colour and contrast.

The other two seem to have a haze or colour cast to them.

Thanks for that Alan. I'll revisit and do some different cropping and look at the colour cast.
