Tree Martin ??

My bird app is telling me that this is a Tree Martin.
Spotted on the roadside at Lake Pamamaroo, N.S.W. It let me get quite close before it flew off. I was about two metres away when I took this image.

Looks like a Tree Martin to me John. Seems a bit unusual for it to be sitting on the ground and let you come so close

I thought that it may have been injured or ill, but it took to the air and flew away when I got to within half a metre. Does it look like a young one to you?

My reference says juveniles have grey-brown upper parts, but I’ve only ever seen them from a distance

Very nice detail in this one John. A great "cautious" look on the bird's face.
