Crested Pigeon

One from Tygum Park this morning. Although a very common bird, I don't have many photos of them. This one posed nicely for me and showed off the iridescence in its wing.

Nikon D800, Nikon 500mm PF f/5.6. 1/1600 f/5.6 ISO 360

100% agree Alan. It seems the more we see a bird the less interesting they become - like sea gulls and crows.
