Low on Water

.. but surviving. Just hoping rains come soon. It's raining now but just a bit of drizzle.

#1 - Stilts reflecting on matters at hand.
#2 - Ibis, looking a bit puzzled as to why the grey teals are hanging around.

#3 - Grey Teal duck all on it's lonesome.
#4 - White Faced Heron wanting to meet the teals.

#5 - White Faced Heron strolling the water's edge.

Good set. I like the stilts and #5, the heron. Looks like we're in for a lot more rain over the next couple of days. The main water supply dams are still not full despite lots of recent rain. At least our local lakes are all full now.

Thanks Alan. We could have all done with a share of the rain NSW just had. The small amount of rain we had a couple of days ago didn't do anything for our reserves. Our dams are low as well but we do have the desalination plant to get us through the dry periods/
