Excellent set Isac.

I like the dappled light in #2, but there are low contrast areas in the shaded parts and I wonder how it would look if these were darkened to give a more dramatic effect.

The flight shots look really good, although #4 doesn’t appeal because of the rear view. Excellent work.

Q- does your exif data get lost in raw to jpg conversion?? ........... sometimes I find it useful to look it up and file it away for another day

Thanks for the CC Alan. #4 is pretty average I guess, I was just happy to get a BIF!
#2 was shot though the reeds and focusing on the eye. Here's a darkened version.

Thank you Phil. I was pleased to see the egrets playing around, not that common to see that.
The EXIF is always available in the original RAW and/or JPG files. When I edit in Photoshop, I save for web without the exif data because it gets stripped by the vBulletin forum software anyway - which is ridiculous I know but they won't change it - they say it's for security reasons. I don't use raw anymore, I'm happy with the JPG format that Canon produces in-camera from the raw data. They've improved greatly over the years. I load my JPG files into Adobe Camera Raw anyway so I can do all adjustments that I can on a raw image and they are a lot smaller than raw files. I prefer to do my editing in PS because of its selection powers so I only use ACR for minor tweaks.

Well that wasn't much of a suggestion, was it, but thanks for trying Isac. The out of focus reeds in the foreground seem to be the main issue and the patches of blue look a little odd.

Cheers Alan. The blue is a reflection from the sky. I suppose I could make it green like the water, It's moving on for me on this one

Nice. It can be/is difficult to get BIF. Can't say I been good at it. The new cameras with animal eye focus seem to make the task a lot easier as you see quite a few successfull images. In No. 5 is that magenta edge on the wing chromatic aberation?

Not my best efforts for BIF Hans. Yes CA in #5 - I usually just fix it easily but not on this one - My bad, as they say.
