I really need to do some Tai Chi - this looks like a great spot.

A big wing stretch one one leg to get the circulation going and work on getting my balance under control.

Good to get that relaxed feeling after a good workout.

My one-legged stance has really improved and I feel like a new bird!

Good series Isac. Soft light, nice and sharp and the bird stands out well from the background.

Than you for that Alan. One of my favourite subjects at both lakes. They are a regular visitor and always put on a bit of a show.

Yep +1 also .... you can always tell a contented / relaxed bird via its one-legged stance ~ and in this case the text makes it more interesting too

Thanks for that Phil. All the birds at the lakes are very contented indeed. We've been seeing a lot lately with our deluge of rain we just had which has added a lot of water for them to paddle around in - Pelicans, Egrets, Spoonbills - Herons, Parrots - great for photographers.
