        Hmmmmm - shadows ... dunno mate, I kinda got used to sun & shadows
        Arguably it might bring up the bellies, but overall I am content with the tone of the image
        I did make a different mod tho ... see below

        Just curious Phil - what operating system and what monitor do you use?

      Another respondent on another photo forum suggested that the 'amputated' birds to the right perhaps could be removed
      So here is my second shot

        Better without the "cut offs" but I'm still wanting to see what lurks in those shadows
