  • Grebes on the Lake

    Australasian Grebes enjoying some alone time. I can never get close enough to these fellas, they are very shy.

    Are they juveniles? - and placement of the pair make for a pleasant image .... try a jigsaw puzzle !!

      Beautiful little birds. Good to capture the pair in the frame. They always keep their distance from me too.

        Cheers Phil. These are adults. The babies have a weird looking striped face, so easy to tell them apart. Here's your jigsaw! It's nearly finished already.

        They certainly are cute little ducks Alan. They are very shy, probably because they are so tiny.
