My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

The magpie has a very pointy curve on its beak. no doubt for assistance to break out of its egg prison. Do they loose that curve with age? I have some yodeling nearby early morning but have not seen them.
Read the other day there were no Ibis in Sydney untill 1958. They are everywhere now. I like the reflection but think the composition could have had a litle more work. Possibly more a portrait?

Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

I'm sorry Hans but I named the birds as magpies but in fact they are Grey Butcherbirds. The Ibis are probably the hardiest bird around and they breed like rabbits.
I can see your point with the portrait version - thanks for the suggestion.

Another nice set from your local lake Isac. I'm in love with #3, the trees and tree roots combined with the reflections make for a very interesting image. They are the hero of the shot.
Are you able to revisit the area at the same time of day and get another image without the birds, and slightly more to the left.
I hope you don't mind, but I've given the image the Alan treatment.

You go for it. Always keen to see what others come up with by playing with my images. Is that a painting filter?

Cheers mate. I have played with the Topaz stuff and it's really cool - so many choices!!

Nice sharp shots Isac but I think your Magpies might be Butcherbirds. I very much like the light on the birds and trees in #4.

Thanks for the heads up on the Grey Butcherbird Alan. I picked that up as soon as Hans mentioned the beak and I've edited the #1 comment. I've never seen them here before so it's a first for me. Things just keep getting better with firsts. The Pink eared ducks and straw-necked ibis are firsts as well this season and also the red capped parrots.
Working...
