Lake birds

Getting in while I can and the birds are still here, I think the lake will dry up this year.

#1 - Great Egret - off in the distance

#2 - Focused even through the reeds

Nice light in the egret in the first image. I love the stilt and it’s reflection. Make the most of it while you can.

Thanks Alan. Can't get enough of the stilts but with this heat the lake looks doomed this year, unless we have some freak weather that dumps a lot of rain.
