  • A few from Eagleby Wetlands

I went for a walk around Eagleby Wetlands yesterday morning. Plenty of water there at last. Heard lots of birds calling, didn't actually see that many, managed to photograph even fewer, and nothing particularly exciting. Very few water birds around though, perhaps they have spread out, now there is more water around.

The Kookaburra is a favourite for many togs (that one being the Laughing Kookaburra). Lovely POV, good framing and a great bokeh background - very sharp - well done.
The Bar-shouldered dove is a newbie for me. Mostly east and only in WA in the Pilbara, so yet to see one.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks Isac. I really have too many photos of kookaburras, but it’s hard to resist one posing for you. The doves are quite common here but tend to be shy, not letting you get too close.
