    #2 - Pink Eared Ducks creating an eddy which brings their food up towards to the surface. They spin around in a tight circle to do that. I wonder how they thought of that - Very clever!

    Good variety at this lake. I’ve never seen pink-eared duck. Good to catch interesting behaviour. The stilt are one of my favourite birds to photograph. I believe the standard common name is now pied stilt. All nice shots

      Thanks Alan. HERE is a post I did in August of Pink Eared Ducks. The name Pied Stilt is more common in New Zealand than Australia. They more commonly known as Black Winged or White Headed Stilts in our neck of the woods.
