  • A lonely pelican

    Pelicans, one of my favourite birds to photograph. They look very clumsy taking off, but once airborne they are quite graceful.

    Number three for me John even though they look out of proportion they can still be attractive.
    Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

    Getting out and about John. Can't beat a good peli shot. They are a graceful bird in flight. I'm with Hans here with #3. The first 2 maybe a bit of a focus issue but still good action shots. Sometimes for a good BIF shot, you have to throw something at the bird to get it to move (as you obviously did in #1) but I see you missed.

      You're spot on re the focus on #1 & #2 Isac. I was not expecting the Pelli to take flight and just banged off a couple of quick ones hoping for a good image.
