  • Birds at the nest

    G'day all
    Parked the motorhome amongst the trees for several days rest and found a nest in the tree not too far away

    Here's Mum at the nest

    They had their beady eyes on you! I suppose that's how most people would find and see these birds. You can see them again with these lovely images.
    Better a full bottle in front of me

      Good work on both these Phil. Good lighting and sharp too. Do you know what they are? #2 looks like some type of Wattle bird.

          Thx for the feedback

          I have wondered about the gender issue - but the 'colourful' bird did most of the feeding and nesting, and the 'brown' bird was a) larger that the other, and b) stood watch in an adjacent tree for most of the day
