#1 - Wood Duck family -1 All growing up, nearly as big as mum!

#2 - Wood Duck family -2 getting a bit of shade.

#3 - Baby Eurasian Coot hiding in the reeds.

Very nice to see. I tried to cature some on our dam but they flew away before I got anywhere near them. Not used to people at all. Did in the Hunter though.

Nice shot (a bit dark but easy fix) Try walking to the dam slowly and throw them some duck food - fozen peas, corn and carrots are very good. NOT BREAD! They'll quickly get used to you.

There was a mum with a youngster throwing bread. The ducks were not interested but the turtles had a ball.

I see it a lot at our lake even though there's a bloody big sign saying "DON'T FEED BREAD TO THE BIRDS AND DUCKS". It will eventually lead to angel wing and death. I followed a guy who was on a gopher and he threw 2 loaves of sliced bread around the lake. I just tagged along behind, grabbed them and then binned it. Bloody stupid!
