  • Wood Duck Family

It's rather relaxing just walking around the lake and taking in our surroundings. It's a beautiful place within metres right here in suburbia. Best time of year to be out and about.

#1 - The ducks are happy here.

They are growing up before your very eyes,
I watched a dog swimming after the ducks on the dam. They were not panicking just kept swimming away from him. I should see if they let me come close when they have baby ducks as they normally fly off when you approach.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

They do grow very quickly Hans. I always have the dog with me so it's probably a bit tricky to get close to them. I have on the odd occasion fed them peas and corn and they get a bit braver and wander in close to get a free feed. I must try that again soon.
