Another great collection of bird images Isac.

Is it the growth around the eyes that determines male and female?

Females have the red iris, probably because the guys are always making them cry. The eye surrounds are both grey in colour. Thanks for looking GJ.

Another good collection of feathered friends.

It is a pleasure to see what you presemt. Find it hard to see sometimes that half a dozen views and not one acknowlegement of it having been seen good bad or indifferent.

It is sad. I can only assume the forum is in a downward spiral into the abyss like many other forums. The mobile apps and other media platforms are ensuring that forums are driven to extinction. It's reality I guess and doesn't give us loyal folks much to celebrate.

Thanks for that Hans. It's a constant display for me here so feel I'm just a bit privileged.

a good variety of shots here. think the pbd would be my favourite of them but the woodies get bonus points for having the family on show.

as for views and comments etc I dont think anyone except isac says anything good or bad on my images so I hardly bother anymore. got a few images to post up but not seem worth it.
I think social media kills forums these days.

I try to comment on all the bird images posted here and hopefully people not get too mad if I tell them what I think.

Thanks for your honesty regarding the forum Stephen. I can't see us surviving much longer, which is shame. Social media is perhaps a contributing factor and the way of the world these days. If you decide to post your shots, please do so - they are always something special.

    thanks for the kind words.
I not post in ages but thought if I posed an image, perhaps some people may be inclined to post also.
a few people saw it and only you commented on it. I saw it got a few visits though.
overall I thought it was one of the better images of a flying bird that I had captured
so I came inside very pleased. the bird flew in from a ways off and let me get a good solid track on him.
still mostly shooting in the house paddock cos the tracks not open properly yet although we now have my car and tractor out of the mud

Thanks for that Stephen. I love to see your images, they are always very inspirational and they are motivational as well.
Glad your vehicles are out of the mud!
