  • Putta Bucca Wetlands - Mudgee

This is not a normal thread but aimed at a member who may live only 3KM from this place. I would love to offer him a personal invitation to pop on down to the Putta Bucca Wetlands and see if he can catch a few wildlife shots. I follow a guy on Flickr HERE and took these shots at that very spot! Unfortunately I'm unable to get over there because I'm imprisoned here in W.A. (thankfully) whilst trying to find the reason for Gill's decision to ignore our great (and safe) Optus Stadium for the AFL Grand Final and hold it at night in a R U G B Y state!!! It may have something to do with the poor contribution to the AFL coffers of our 2 great clubs?

I live about 10km from there. I have been three times and was aware of the Swans becomming parents recently. There has been little in the way interest when I have been there though I have posted a picture here taken there. He might be like you Isac and walk there every day.

Walking is good for us oldies Hans. I use a shoulder strap for the camera so the weight is no problem. Just today I took a few snaps of a wattle bird hopping about picking up bugs, very entertaining.

My over the shoulder camera strap has fallen apart the metal catch broke at its pivot. I have no idea what happened as I found it like that when I went to use it. Waiting on a new strap. Advisable if I'm going to hang all that glass around my neck.
