Very surprised on seeing these little fellows at the lake today. I haven't seen the Pink Eared Ducks around for a while and now I know why! They were creating a little family. I was really chuffed to see them. They looked just like Mum and Dad when they are foraging for food with their strange looking bills skimming below the surface.

Maybe they should be called bandit ducks. Is that a mummy and daddy in the first pic? They look much the same.

Thanks Stephen. I've not even seen the ducks until this season and to get the babies was extra special. I'll take the Bigma tomorrow to see if I can get a bit closer.
