      You're very kind Phil. I wanted to live by the ocean but never happened, so the next best thing is a lake. Probably better wildlife for photography though.

    Yet another great set,clear,sharp and nice poses,wish the birds here were so cooperative.The Egret is a cracker but #4 would be my pick with #3 a close second,great work.

      Thank you for that Kevin - Our lake is the fullest I've ever seen and still filling as we've had a lot of rain. It brings many ducks so that's a good thing.

    first not look like any female hard head I have seen. seems to have some sort of hybrid. with a lot of pbd in it. maybe they look different down your way?
    good work on getting these shots though

      Thanks for that Stephen. I originally thought that was the case but usually the PBD hybrids still have that stripe through the eye. I know they are hard to ID. We have a few hybrids here and some look very odd, especially the Mallards.
