is ok kevin. no one comments on my stuff either, so I just stopped posting images.
my wedgetail was about the last post in that regard. just checked hanse and oz traveller.........not even isac who you can usually rely on
as for critique of the shot, I like the reflection but overall I think the reflection is let down with the stuff in the water. makes it overall too busy.
perhaps a shadow lift around the eye

Oh you are very harsh on me Stephen. Sometimes I get 300 to 400 emails PER DAY and on the odd occasion I might miss one or two. It's never intentional and I do comment on 99% of threads. I have images posted with no comments too, but I keep posting anyway.

Light was not ideal,take what I can get when I can get it.The weed in the water covered the entire lagoon,but id dying off now the water levels are dropping again.

Sorry I didn't comment on this one Kevin. The image is very busy with the stuff in the water and a bit dark for me, which is a shame because the reflection you wanted is a cracker. Never mind mate - all good and we're all learning every day.

It was early morning and not the best light,the stuff in the water is Water Hyacinth which took over the lagoon but has been dying off recently.

The birds will always be there Kevin so give it another go when you can.
