Like the Galah. Swan looks like it was hard work. Not quite there.

Thanks Hans. The colour of the weeds surrounding the swan was the main attraction for the shot. Maybe I could make it a B&W and just leave the red beak as a selective colour.

I love the colours in #1 Isac as well as the OOF background. Was that achieved in camera with the correct aperture setting, or did you do it in CC2020? Just interested, doesn't matter either way it is really effective.
I can just imagine the Pacific Black saying "coming through, MOVE". Well timed shot. Don't they have wonderful colouring under the wings, it's a shame that it's hidden most of the time.

The Galah shot was straight out of camera, no PP at all. I really like the blacks John, they do have those fabulous colours but only seen when they are flapping their wings.

That galah shot is a cracker mate, well done.

Much appreciated John. Sometimes it just works out well.

Here's a B&W version Hans, using the "Calculations" method.

Looks interesting whatever the the "calculations method" is.

Open and image, on the top menu go to "Image > Calculations" and have some fun. Leave Source and Layer 1 an 2 as is and play with the Channels, Blending and Opacity to get some really cool effects.
Working...
