not seen the local eagles in a while, but the other day this one was soaring over the paddock. it was cross light for a lot of the time but as it came towards me, it banked away allowing the sun to get where you wanted it. was white sky except for this one spot. tail feathers messed up a bit suggesting it may be doing some nesting a tad early

thanks folks. assuming you have a raptor flying, they are usually easier than the smaller birds...
