  • Some new visitors to the local lake

    I received a nice surprise when I visited the local lake today, there are a couple of new species that I have not seen here before.

    #1 Mr. Australian wood Duck.

      Thanks Phil, funny thing is the more photo's I take the better I seem to get. Although the keeper rate from this session was not so good. That may be because I'm getting fussier.

    A good haul. The black swan looks rather majestic.
    Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

    Very nice collection,you get a lovely variety of birds round your way.The Black Swans are beautiful birds and you have really captured them well.

      Thanks for the kind words Kevin. The swans are very majestic birds aren't they. It's a toss up as to whether I prefer swans or pelicans, they are both beautiful birds, and generally very easy to photograph.
