Once again another lovely image Kevin, to me the bird is perfectly exposed and you can tell how small it is as the barbed wire gives a scale of reference.
I agree with Stephen on the two light bits of grass, well to a point, they also help to frame the subject. Maybe just tone them down a bit. To me the seed head, or whatever it is, 1/4 way down on the left is more distracting, and easier to fix. In a perfect world he would be perched on a twig and not a length of fencing, but in the wild you have to take what you can get.
