  • Oh when I looked up very high - I saw a birdie in the sky

    G'day all

    On my pre-brekky walk today I missed seeing much of interest, until I looked up and saw several black swans flying overhead.
    They were a hell-of-a-long way up, so it needed the zoom stretched out from normal of 480mm FFequiv to become 720mm FF equiv

    None the less - here's what I managed ..... one of a series of a dozen or more shot using the Panny's 30fps shooting mode

    Brilliant Phil. Not a common sight to see them flying about during the day. Lovely colours and great to use rapid fire to get the shots that show the entire wing span.

      Nice catch,I haven`t seen any Black Swans around here for years.
