    Why? - hard to answer ~ could be that my eye moves L > R and hits a visually immovable object and settles?

        It is because we are used to reading from left to right. So I was told many years ago.
        Better a full bottle in front of me
        than a full frontal lobotomy.

        as Hans says, looking to the right feels more comfortable to us humans.
        so I prefer it that way also.
        feels a tad tight in the frame though as presented

          So if you were Hebrew, or Japanese, would you view the image from right to left, or up & down?

          I can take it either way but I agree with Avkomp,needs a bit more room.
