You handled the shade well in #1 and #2 John. They came out well for the conditions you were faced with. I love the last one BTW.

Thanks Isac. I like the way the branch parallels the kooka's back.

Geez, you're good at seeing that sort of thing John. And here's me thinking, I'd crop off that branch, darken it slightly, cropping and tilting left, and put some detail into the back of its head.
Just having fun today, don't take me seriously

Lovely edit Isac. Looks good without the branch.

good work on these. I like the barking owl the best of these. we were fortunate to fine a pair of these at narrabeen in sydney once. I can do a pretty fair barking owl call and had him answer me and we followed the sounds. edit on the blue winged kooka lifts it also.

Thanks for the kind words Stephen, they mean a lot coming from someone whose bird shots I admire.

Like these. But you didn't focus on the owls eyes.

I was actually talking about the others where there were no eyes to focus on. there was nothing wrong with the images displayed. Love the Kookaburra.

All good Hans, just my weird sense of humour. Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated.
