  • Pelicans - the B52 of local birds

    G'day all

My early morning walks are coming in nicely both for a bit of exercise plus the chance to capture images if the birds before they go elsewhere during the heat of the day
    typical exif- Panny FZ2500; 1/1000s x F4,5; lens at 250mm [film camera equiv]; ISO-125

    1) Just cruisin' - just lookin' -- see ya around later

    2) Flaps out, undercarriage down - look out, here I come

    3) as above

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

I like the imminent splashdown in #3 Great action shot.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

#2 and #3 Phil. These guys in flight are great photo subjects and they are so graceful. They are large enough to get a good focus on as well. Nice pics.
#1 needs a bit of undercarriage exposure IMO.
